We are excited to announce a significant update to our app to support a new product launch of the Blue by ADT Smart Home Hub Security System. The Smart Home Hub security system is the latest product launch by Blue by ADT also supporting new Door & Window Sensors, Motion Sensors, Flood & Temperature Sensors, Keypad, and Keychain Remote.

We are excited to announce a significant update to our app. All Blue by ADT camera models nowhave added support for audio included in saved media. We have redesigned camera settings to support the ability to turn ON or OFF the audio in Saved Media with all Blue by ADT camera models. Also, we have added offline support for all camera models. During the camera add flow for all Blue by ADT cameras, we have made various improvements.
Additionally, the update will:
- Improve the UI for easy access to your cameras during live and recorded playback to use native gesture controls.
- Provide more help throughout the app to make your experience easier.
- Implement several bug fixes and performance improvements.

LifeShield is now Blue by ADT!
Now that LifeShield has merged with ADT, we’re excited to announce that we’re re-branding as Blue by ADT! With our new name comes a significant update to our app, which includes a new look and feel, new features, plus numerous bug fixes and performance enhancements. We’ve also added support for a whole new product line that doesn’t require a security system: our new Blue by ADT cameras. This improved video experience includes live streaming, 2-way talk, motion and event-based recording, plus rich notifications. The new Blue by ADT cameras also support Facial Recognition to keep you better informed about who’s around your home.
For our security customers, this release includes an upgrade that allows you to add more than one user to your system, with the ability to set their role and enable them to manage their notification methods. To add a user, go to Menu > Users > + Add User.
This update will also:
· Make it easier to add third-party services to your system
· Improve the history of events to include saved media for camera events
· Improve the UI for easy access to your cameras during alarm events
· Provide more help throughout the app to make your experience easier
